Career
In 2016 he made his debut in the Supersport category with Team Puccetti Racing, winning his debut race at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R.He led the World Championship for four races, collecting three podiums and one pole position and closing the World Championship in third position with a total of 140 points, just two points behind the Vice Champion.
In 2017 he remained in the same team but moved to the Superbike category riding a ZX-10R.
Due to a wrist injury suffered on the Lausitzring circuit, he was forced to miss the last four rounds. He closed his experience in Superbike with 50 points.
In 2018 he returns to the Supersport category, this time riding the Yamaha YZF-R6 of Team Evan Bros.
In 2019 he continues on the Yamaha of Team Evan Bros, after 24 years of racing for Randy his dream becomes reality, winning the title of World Champion!
In 2022 he participated in the CIV Superbike riding the
Yamaha R1-M of the Keope Motor Team taking a victory on the Mugello circuit.
In 2023 he participated in the FIM ENEL Moto-E World Championship riding the Ducati V21L of Team Intact. He achieved a victory at Silverstone and four podiums in total, finishing the season in fifth position.
In 2024 he will participate in the World Endurace Championship riding the Honda 1000RR-R of Tati Team Beringer Racing.
