The sixth round of the FIM Enel MotoE World Championship took place at the "Red Bull Ring", a circuit located in Spielberg, Austria.
Completely new track for Randy Krummenacher, who concluded the day of qualifying in tenth position. Fourth row on the starting grid for the Team Dynavolt Intact bearer, who finished race 1 in eleventh position while in race 2 he managed to find a better feeling with the bike, taking home a seventh place.
Sixth round closed and the Swiss driver looks positively at the last two events, especially because they will take place on two circuits that are very well known to him. The FIM Enel MotoE World Championship will arrive in Catalunya, on the Barcelona circuit, on the weekend of 1-2 September and will close the proceedings in Misano the following weekend.
#RK3: "It was a tough weekend, I didn't know this track, very technical and demanding, but I didn't expect to find any major difficulties. Instead it was really difficult at the beginning to be able to put together the feeling with the bike and at the same time understand the track, especially because the laps available are few. In free practice I took time to memorize the track and understand what I needed to improve and I ended up in Q1. In the first qualifying I set the second fastest time but in Q2 I wasn't able to do better than the tenth fastest time. Starting from the fourth row, recovering positions in a seven-lap race is practically a feat that I hoped to be able to accomplish. Instead, in race 1 I remained at the back, finishing eleventh. In race two I found a better feeling with the bike and managed to finish seventh. Now there are two events left (four races) at the end of the MotoE World Championship. We will be in Barcelona and then in Misano, two tracks that I know well and I like both very much. I hope to bring home better results to conclude my first year in the electric category with satisfaction."
